A. Payment Terms All terms are Cash, Check, Money Order, Electronic Bank Transfer or Credit Card. Sea-View Diving accepts Master Card, VISA, Discover and American Express credit cards and also Pay pal. For the Customer’s protection using credit cards, we only accept orders in which the shipping address matches the verified billing address of the Customer’s credit card. Please use the pull down box to validate whether you want to pay in US dollars or Canadian Dollars. All returned checks are subject to $50handling fee. All orders held until check has been received & cleared through the banks (7-10 days). Money Orders must be cashable at Canadian banks.
PLEASE NOTE: we do not treat international (other than Canadian) certified cheques as cash payment. Canadian banks will wait for 25 days for even a certified cheque to clear through the international banks before giving us payment. Therefore we would have to wait the 25 days after submitting the certified cheque before we could ship the product.
For larger orders to be shipped out of Canada we only accept payment by Direct Electronic Bank Transfer. This method is quick, safe, economical and we can ship your product immediately upon receiving the funds. We can take a certified cheque but we would have to wait the 25 days for it to clear the bank before shipping.
Canadian Customer Pricing: Canadian customers can pay inCanadian dollars if you so choose. The prices shown on the product details page are firstly based upon the US Dollar price though. The figure listed for Canadian dollars (if displayed) is an approximation and is not up to date with the daily exchange rates. The up to date current exchange rate price in Canadian dollars is displayed when you click “Buy Now” and then use the pull down box to choose “Canadian” dollars then press Validate. The next page shows the price that will be charged to you in Canadian Dollars and may differ slightly to the price shown on the products details page.
B. Shipping Shipments by either Regular Mail (Lettermail), Rapid Mail (Expedited) or Express (Courier) method are at customer’s expense. Delivery to carrier constitutes delivery to purchaser. Shipments are to be inspected upon receipt. All claims for goods damaged during shipping are between customer and carrier only. Each shipment should be counted and inspected upon receipt; shortages are to be reported in writing Sea-View Diving within five (5) days of receipt.
Prices illustrated do not reflect or include any and all excise, sales, use, personal property, inventory, VAT, importing taxes, charges or levies imposed or which may be imposed on or in connection with the sale or use of goods sold by Seller to the purchaser.
Shipments into Canada from the United States: Some items may be shipped from headquarters in the US so duty (if any), brokerage, GST & PST is payable upon entrance into Canada to the shipping company. Canadian customers will not be charged GST & PST on your initial sales invoice by Sea-View Diving for these items since you will be paying for it when you receive it from the shipping company.
Shipments into the United States from Canada: Some items may be shipped from headquarters in the Canada so duty (if any), brokerage and state or federal taxes are payable upon entrance into the United States to the shipping company. United States customers will not be charged any taxes on your initial sales invoice by Sea-View Diving for these items. You may have be pay for it when you receive it from the shipping company depending upon you local tax and duty laws.
Upgrading your order to Express does not mean that you will receive your package in one or two business days from the time you place the order. It reduces only the time your order is in transit. Order processing time will take from 1 to 2 business days for in stock items.
Shipping times for products sent to the continental US and Canada
In the above time schedule please note that only small items such as DVD’s and small books can be shipped by Regular Mail service. Items thicker than 20mm(.787in.) and/or over 500g cannot ship via Reg. Mail and you must select the next service which is Rapid Mail. You can only use Regular Mail for one of an item. More than one, then the shipment will not fit through a 20mm letter slot and cannot go via Regular Lettermail. If you want more than 1 than you will have to choose Rapid Mail.
“Special” method for shipping can only be used when shipping is indicated as being “FREE” on the item description page. If you want that item shipped faster, Click Here to email us for a shipping quote.

If you need an item before a specific date, please provide the date in the comment section upon checkout. If we are unable to meet your request, the order will be canceled. We will try to contact you by E-mail or phone if there is a problem meeting your request.
If your package requires extra shipping costs for your destination, we will notify you by email of that extra cost before we process your order.
Please make sure you choose the correct shipping method from the drop-down menu before proceeding with your order. Please make sure your ship to address is complete and includes any apartment, department or floor number information. Some carriers now charge for address corrections and we will add that additional cost to your credit card when it is billed to us.
An adult signature and identification will be required for all packages paid for with a credit card, sent to a location other than your billing address. If you need the order to be delivered without a signature, it must be prepaid, and we must have your signature authorizing the release.
We use an address verification and fraud detection system. TO AVOID PROCESSING DELAYS PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BILLING ADDRESS MATCHES EXACTLY THE ADDRESS ON YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT, AND THAT YOUR BILLING PHONE NUMBER IS THE SAME AS ON FILE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER.
Customers shipping to addresses other than their billing address should notify their credit card company of the alternate shipping address. Simply call the number on the back of your credit card and let them know you are placing an order via the Internet and would like to give them an alternate shipping address.
Please note that most carriers do not ship to PO Boxes. You must use an address other that PO Boxes.
